Learn Everything You'll Need to Know Prior to Meeting With a Trainer

Before you begin your journey to a happier and healthier lifestyle, here are a couple tips and tricks you should know! Once you've made your decision to seek help from a personal trainer, one of the best places to start is with choosing the actual trainer. After you have chosen your trainer, its time to secure the booking and schedule your appointment. If the booking is confirmed, its time to communicate with your trainer and decide on a meeting location, decide on what material you or the trainer should bring, and any other final details before the big day! Below, we explain how each step in the process works, and some of the Do's and Don'ts of scheduling, booking, managing, and communicating with trainers.

Choosing Your Trainer:

Take a look at your live map to see which trainers are available and where they are located! Find a trainer who specializes in the areas you hope to improve in and who is nearest you! All of our trainers are great at what they do, but make sure they have similar coaching methods, specialize in the area of fitness in which you are trying to work on, and are located in a close enough proximity to your current location. Booking Your Trainer:

Booking a trainer is simple! After you've identified which trainer you want to carry out a session with, head to their profile by selecting them on the map or searching them directly. Click on the "Book" tab to view their schedule, then select the date and time that works best for you! The amount of Hops needed for different trainers is subject to change. By adding at least 3 Hops to your account, you can go to almost every trainer on the network! If you want to save a specific trainer for later use, add them to your favorites catalog or press "Add To Plan" at the bottom of the screen!

Chat with your Trainer:

If you're looking to book a trainer and they don't have availability at the date and time that works best for you, send them a message and see if they would be willing to add you into their schedule! In addition to adding availability to their schedule, you can use the In-App Messenger to communicate locations, needed equipment, or just to familiarize yourself with the trainer. Any questions, comments, or concerns you may have prior to meeting with a trainer can all be addressed with our In-App Messenger!
